Cooking in my slow cooker now for a pie tomorrow. I will let you know how it goes. It has mushrooms so it can't go wrong!

This was amazing. The taste, the texture...everything was perfect and it left us all silent in appreciation as we ate it. It's not often that my family are quiet around the dinner table - there's so much talking going on that a meal can take ages to consume and goes cold. But with this recipe we were silent except for the initial exclamation of "Yum!" Plates were cleaned, seconds were had and there was none left over.

Absolutely delicious. The barramundi held together well and you could taste each ingredient separately.
It had a lot of liquid in the bottom of the wrapped package and in the slow cooker. I served up on a separate plate first and allowed the liquid to run off before putting it on the serving plate. Just something to be aware of.
I will do this recipe again, but I might try scallops or bugs as well to make it a complete seafood meal.
It was just what I wanted to try and was so incredibly easy (but took me a bit longer than 5 minutes preparation - maybe about 10).
Just superb. Thanks for such a simple recipe that looked and tasted amazing.

Trying this for dinner tonight. It's a perfect evening for seafood.

This was delicious.
The recipe didn't indicate a size for the roast, so I went with a 1.6kg piece. Completely the correct choice. It cooked perfectly for 7 hours.
I didn't have quite enough honey, so I added some molasses. That was a full flavour taste!
Served with chips and pasta salad.
Aspie kids enjoyed it (they have taste and food texture issues and this meal ticked their boxes).
So, we're having this again, but I might cut the rind off prior to cooking and make it into crackling next time.
Thanks for the recipe!

Delicious. Followed the recipe except I had to use pork spare ribs. Everything else was as instructed.
Served with chips and pasta salad. Everyone loved it and we will be having it again.
Thanks for such a yummy recipe.

Really delicious. Everyone enjoyed it, which was a lovely surprise for me. Served it with the gravy as recommended in the recipe.
We'll definitely have this again.

Divine. It was so flavoursome and the meat simply fell off the bones. We are putting this in our favourites to have again.

This is such a favourite at our place. Made it last night and doubled the mushrooms because we love them so much.
It is going to taste even nicer tonight for left-overs.
Thanks for such a delicious recipe!

Delicious flavours. I think I had a little too much liquid, so it was a bit runny, but the flavours were rich and fragrant. Will make this again!

Amazing dish! I used lactose free cream as one of my children is intolerant. The cream held together well. Two family members had the steak with it, and three family members had it with rice. Both were judged to be delicious, so it will be on our list of noms to have in the future.

Made this yesterday exactly as the recipe stated...except I added a whole apple and orange and omitted the cloves because I thought I had some and didn't buy any...and found I had none.
I cooked it for maybe 7 hours on low - was close to 1.5kg - and it was, to put it simply: sublime. Everyone ate it! The same kids who a few years ago turned up their noses at slow-cooked corned beef and I had to give the left-overs to the dogs because it was too much for me to consume, even over a couple of days, those very same children ate it and loved it.
So, thank you for a wonderful addition to my list of autism-approved recipes!

Absolutely perfect. Thank you.

Well, cooked and eaten. Kids rated it 10/10, even the kid that doesn't like macaroni and cheese. I love the fact that I controlled what went in to the mixture - no blue box, no jar of cheese spread, no frozen meal microwaved. Just the cheese the milk, the macaroni and the slow-cooker.
Thanks for this recipe. It's going into my files.

So, my first-ever slow cooked cake. I was skeptical, despite reading the enthusiastic comments on the Facebook page. A slow-cooked cake? Not cooked in the oven? Unnatural!
Well, more fool me for not trying it sooner. I love coffee and I love cake, so I thought, combine the two and have a go. Well, how delicious was it? So moist and flavoursome! I was amazed. It's as if cooking it in the slow cooker enhances the flavour due to the moistness of the cake. It was sublime. The cake was devoured the same day it was eaten and I have been asked to make another one. So that's what I will be doing today. And this time I will help myself to a slice first before anyone gets to it!
So, I am a convert. Thank you!
