This was really easy to make and quite tasty too. I did as the other comments suggested and omitted the salt (it really didn't need it), and I halved the dried herbs as I intended to share it with my young children. I'd like to try substituting the cheese for a different type, or even using a garlic butter more like a giant kiev, but this was a hit and I'm sure I'll make it again. I may further reduce the basil and try it with just 1/2 tbsp to see if it's even more appealing to my kids.
Also agree with an earlier comment that you could add more sauce and use it to mix in with pasta for kids.
This was easy to make and delicious! The filling sets firm, which you'd expect from something with 'fudge' in the name, and the bonus is they are not messy to eat! This recipe made around 24 for me, with some filling left over 🙂 Will make again for sure.
