I LOVE this soup!! Thank you for such an easy, tasty, fail-safe recipe. I use boneless chicken (whatever I have defrosted) … usually 500g of chicken thigh, and 500g tenderloins.
Great, easy, recipe. I found it a little bland … next time I would double the paprika and garlic, and perhaps add some tomato paste. I use zucchini instead of mushrooms in stroganoff, if anyone else with an aversion to mushrooms can use a tip!
Comfort food at its finest! This was delicious. I added 4 cups (instead of 1 cup) of baby spinach leaves, and will possibly add more next time. It helps tone down the slight oiliness of the dish.
Very tasty meal. I added bok choy and carrot (cut into matchsticks) when adding the noodles, and the end result was plenty for 4 serves, not 2. Next time I would add two bunches of bok choy, as we found the dish a little sauce-heavy (plus we like veg!).
The only thing stopping me from giving this dish 5 stars is that I'm not a huge fan of gravy. It's a very tasty meal, and served with mashed potato, carrots and peas it is quintessential Winter comfort food! Very reminiscent of dishes my grandmother used to make. My 19-yr-old son licked his plate clean. My boys love casseroles, so this is a huge hit with them.
Yum! Followed this super-easy recipe exactly, except I used boneless, skinless, thigh fillets. Regularly basted during cooking. I was able to fit 4 thigh fillets comfortably in my 1.5 litre slow cooker. Served with brown rice and steamed broccolini. Delicious meal!
I was a bit concerned about using mango (I don't like it), but couldn't taste it at all. This is a lovely, mild, curry ... reminiscent of the curried sausages my mother used to cook in the 1970s!
