I made this specifically for my children (1 and 3) so I 'kidified' it slightly by par boiling the sausages first, removing the skins and dicing. I also added diced potatoes, carrots and peas. I found it a touch too hot towards the end (for the kids not for me it was delicious!) so I added a tin of coconut milk to calm the spices. Teamed with some jasmine rice I had clean bowls all around. Definitely a winner 🙂
This was absolutely delicious!!!! I used rump steak cooked on low 4.5 hours and used 1/2 T of dried Thyme as that's all I had and it still came out divine. Pretty happy to have some left over gravy to spoon over tonight's dinner.
