Slow Cooker Central and Russell Hobbs are excited to bring you the opportunity to WIN A FREE SLOW COOKER!!
The Russell Hobbs 6L Searing Slow Cooker is packed with great features:
- The Russell Hobbs 6L Searing slow cooker features a non ceramic inner cooking pot, glass lid, stainless steel base unit with LOW/HIGH/WARM control dial and digital timer
- The inner pot can be placed directly on the stove top to brown/sear food prior to slow cooking. ย So not only does this mean no extra dishes, but all thatย flavor you get when browning meat etc all stay IN the slow cooker bowl so you donโt lose any of that great taste and depth of flavour.
- In using the timer function, you can increase cooking time by 30 minute increments and when your cooking time ends the Russell Hobbs Searing Slow Cooker automatically switches to โwarmโ.
- The 6L size is plenty big enough to fit all your large roasts, soups, stews and meals in for a large family. ย I found it to be a great non stick finish also.
- Recommended retail price $89.95

First thing I’d cook would be a beautiful roadt lamb. Our oven is broken so haven’t had one in forever..
I would actually give this to my mum since I “borrowed” hers 9 years ago and haven’t given it back yet. I’d make pumpkin scones in it for her first, to show her just how versatile slow cookers are.
The first thing i would make is beef stew, it would have so much flavour!
If I was lucky enough to win something I would have to cook satay chicken first because even my super picky 2 and 5 year olds can’t get enough!
If I won this fantastic slow cooker I would cook sticky lamb ribs to surprise my partner and give her night off from cooking
Since I haven’t been able to afford meat for a while, I am waiting on my Mega Meat hamper from Chrisco and I would do a juicy Lamb Roast with all the trimmings for Xmas Day for my little family.
Lamb obsession
if I won. i would cook the garlic gravy steak.
Lamb Obsession because it sounds like it’s everyone’s favourite! I smashed the lid on my slow cooker 4 months ago so I’ve been waiting (impatiently) to try so many recipes.
So many slow cooked delights to choose from, but Chocolate Baileys mud cake would be my choice for first cook…..this done in the Russell Hobbs slow cooker would definitely be a family favourite, Yum!!
To win this slow cooker would be a dream come true, I have just started studying nursing part time and working part time so I’m really busy now, it would make life a bit easier. Couldn’t go past a good a silver side, yum.
I’d love to try the American style BBQ ribs :-). But I’d wrap it up and give it to my hubby’s grandma for all the help she has given us over the years as well as a copy of the cook books ๐
I’d have a go at Spaghetti Bolognese, one of my fave things to eat. My SC doesn’t sear and I haven’t had a go at it yet because I think the mince would be best seared first. Yummm!
The first thing would be Corned Silverside as my family just lives this rught down to my 2 1/2 year old grandson.
Wi would cook a pork roast with all the vegies, and use the juices to make a fabulous gravy
I would make slowcooker steaks! This slowcooker means I could sear them first so that all the lovely juice stays in and then leave them to slowly cook all day. Mmmm waaay better than restaurant steaks!
I think the first thing if I win is I will make rhubarb sago pudding.
I might make a lamb casserole like Lamb Obsession.
The first recipe I would make is Lamb Obsession
I Can’t go past the old favorite self saucing chocolate pudding to surprise the man, yum!
I would cook a huge lamb roast for all my family ?
Hmm never had anything from a slow cooker. Maybe beef stroganoff woule be first meal
Leg of Lamb Roast as it would finally fit haha! No need to buy only a half leg anymore I would go all out ๐
Oh wow! If I was fortunate to win this 6L Slow Cooker – it would get a fantastic workout.
An ideal addition to my collection. Leading up to Christmas Day I would be able to cook the Roast Chicken’s & Lambs….just to name a few.
My first christening dish would be Meat Pie with a Twist as it is much easier to use a round S/C than a rectangle.
