Zucchini Slice

2 zucchinis grated

1 onion diced

3 rashers of bacon diced

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

1/2 cup oil

1 cup self raising flour

5 eggs

Salt and pepper


1Mix all ingredients together well.

2Line slow cooker with baking paper and spray with cooking oil.

3Add mixture and cook on HIGH for 4 hours

I used this recipe but made a few changes- added mushrooms and carrot and swapped bacon for a small amount of ham.
It turned out great. Next time I would personally use less oil.

I’d aim for around 2cups of grated zucchini 🙂

approximate weight of zucchini please, as here in Egypt ours are very small.
