Ingredients

500g mince

1/2 cup chopped onion

2 cans of diced tomatoes

1 can kidney beans

1 can corn

1 cup of tomato purée

1 taco seasoning mix

1-2 cups of water

Salt

Pepper

Cheese

Corn chips

Directions

1Brown mince and onions

2Combine everything in slow cooker except cheese and corn chips

3Cook on low for 4-6 hours

4Serve topped with cheese and eat with corn chips

Popular with the whole family 🙂
I also added diced capsicum, and doubled the mince and we now have plenty leftover to repurpose into another meal 🙂

Made this tonight for dinner, my husband and 18 month old loved it.
I did make a few changes to the recipe:
-added capsicum which I fried with the onion and mince
-only used one can of diced tomato
-added about 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce
-added a beef stock cube
Served with corn chips, cheese, avocado and sour cream.
Will defiantly be making this again!

I made this last night for the first time.
I didn’t have corn so I used frozen peas instead, also I only had 300 grams of beef mince so I substituted the rest with sausage mince. After browning the mince I then cooked some diced red capsicum to add as well. I served it with grated cheese as suggested and a dollop of sour cream. The leftovers today are awesome ????
