  1. Sounds delicious – could you make your own meatballs and put them in raw (not frozen)? I wonder if they would just fall apart if they weren’t browned first?

Absolutely brilliant. I made two lots of nibble sized sweet chilli meatballs. I was trying out easy finger food recipes for a future wedding and they were gone almost before I walked back to the kitchen. A big hit and very easy to make and they freeze very well. Will definitely be making again.

Absolutely brilliant. I made two lots of nibble sized sweet chilli meatballs. I did make my own plain mince meatballs with just a bit of garlic, salt and pepper as I was trying out easy finger food recipes for a future wedding and they were gone almost before I walked back to the kitchen. A big hit and very easy to make and they freeze very well. Will definitely be making again.

  4. Absolutely delicious!! Made my own meatballs pork and beef mince and doubled all sauce ingredients except for jar (only had 1) added 2 TBS white vinegar, pepper, added juice with pineapple and 2 cups of water.Thickened with 3Tbs cornflour and 3 TBS water added to sauce 1/2 an hour before serving Will definitely make again 🙂

    Saucy, sweet n sour deliciousness!
Used fresh mince, making 12 balls which held together perfectly.
This made a generous amount of sauce, with cornflour thickened at the end.
I served with rice and broccoli on the side.
Next time I might try with pork mince for more authentic Asian flavour.
