  1. Another awesome and super easy recipe from Paulene. Family all rated it 10/10 – even the fussy one ?
Not too sweet, just perfect. On the regular list now.

  2. Wow!! This was my first try at snags in the sc and this definitely didn’t disappoint ?? A truly easy and delicious meal with minimal ingredients needed ?????Thanks so much for sharing this one with us Paulene ?

  3. Very tasty and simple. Will try with diced beef in the future. In saying that sausages is a cheap and tasty meal, I guarantee I will cook again ?
We ate with pasta and broccoli, 2 kids aged 6 and 8 loved it.

    1. 9hrs would usually be too long unless your slow cooker cooks particularly low/slow? The other thing you could do to counteract is to be sure to keep the cooker fuller (so maybe a double batch?) but in general that’s a really long time for sausages and it might dry out

  4. Decided to give this a try due to the raving reviews and it didn’t disappoint ! Simple , easy , tasty and there’s none left over !

  5. I really enjoyed this. The sauce was lovely. My sauce stayed quite runny even with using a tea towel for the last two hours, I didn’t want to use cornflour. It was still very tasty and hubby and Miss 10 also enjoyed. I served it with roast potatoes, corn on the cob and baby peas. I can’t wait to have this one again!

  6. This would have been a really yummy dish if I hadn’t of used Chipolato sausages it altered the flavour. Will try it again though

  7. This was a dish winner with a fussy partner and 4 year old. I swapped the apricot jam for strawberry as that was all I had. It still turned out nice, sweet but we like sweet sauces.

  8. I am going to try this, but with sweet orange marmelade, because I have some I’m just not eating. I’ll have to post again when I see how it turns out.

  9. We had this for dinner tonight (second time) and it was lovely, everyone enjoyed it.
Last time I left the sausages whole for serving but this time I cut them up into bit size pieces and the sauce was able to get right through them, everyone seemed to prefer them cut up.

  10. I made this today with a few adaptations:

6 sausages (I used Angus beef and caramelised onion)
    1/3 cup raspberry jam
(Rest of the sauce the same)

I added baby potatoes after an hour which I cut with the egg flip. With an hour to go I added diced capsicum (1/2 as that’s what was in the fridge) and sliced mushrooms and stirred that through. 20 mins before serving I added frozen mashed potato and stirred that though to thicken.

    Absolutely filling! Will make again

Okay, wow! I was not expecting to like this (I am not a fan of apricot jam) but had to try it because it seems so simple and cheap. Granted, I had to chuck it in the pressure cooker because my sausage hadn’t defrosted in time but it’s amazing! The taste of the sauce was sooo nice. Next time I’ll be slow cooking it so the sausages get that little bit softer. Can definitely recommend giving this a try!
