Serving: 4
Prep Time 25 minutes
Cook Time 4 hours
Total Time 4 hours 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 500g lean mince (I used Coles 5*)
  • 1diced onion
  • 1 grated carrot
  • 1 grated zucchini
  • 2 tbsps tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsps Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsps sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt/pepper
  • 1 jar pasta sauce of your choice
  • 1 tin salt reduced tomato soup

Instructions

  • Combine pasta sauce and tomato soup in the slow cooker, put on high while you prepare the meatballs
  • Mix the rest of ingredients together, then roll into golf sized meatballs and place them gently into the sauce.
  • DON'T STIR, otherwise they will fall apart.
  • It's ok to sit them on top of each other if you can't fit them all in.
  • Once all are in, put lid on, cook for half hr, then swirl them gently through the sauce.
  • Place lid back on and cook for 3-4 hrs on high or 6 hrs on low.
  • Serve on spaghetti or pasta of your choice with a sprinkle of grated cheese - enjoy!

  1. So decided to give this recipe a try today only problem is stupid me didn’t notice that the bulk of the ingredients are to be mixed in the meatballs. Seeing as I already had store bought meatballs decided to give it a try by just combining all the ingredients into the sauce, omg can’t believe how tasty the sauce as become so rich and spicy. Think I may stick to doing it this way lol

  2. Wow loved it was a huge hit in my house as I have 4 grown up boys and hubby ..didnt change a thing super easy to make taste buds heaven yum. 10/10???
