  1. I made this tonight for dessert but don’t know where I went wrong as I thought the crumble was suppose to be crumbly but it was just all soggy!!! A bit disappointed!!!

So yummy and easy. Made it with frozen berries to go with the apple. Big tick. Served it with homemade custard.

    Totally awesome dessert.
Made with 2 Granny Smith apples and a punnet of Raspberries.

I put the Raspberries in when I put the crumble topping on.

I made this tonight but only with apples. I used about 5 apples covered with 2T sugar and cinnamon cooked for about 1.5 hours on high.
I increased the crumble ingredients slightly. All in my little 1.5L cooker for 2 hours with the tea towel trick.
Everyone loved it (incl the kid who doesn’t like oats) and served with custard. Delish.

Delicious and well received by the family.

Doubled the recipe for 6 of us (small serves) and did it in a 1.5L slow cooker. Came right near the top but no issues. Served with ice cream and/or cream.
