A lush smoky BBQ pulled beef - just 3 ingredients

Ingredients

1.5kg Topside Beef Roast

1 cup of McCormick Vintage Smokehouse Grill Mate BBQ Sauce/Marinade/Baste (found in sauce section of supermarket) or any brand of BBQ Sauce/Marinade/Baste you like in a similar flavour

I large brown onion thin sliced

Directions

1Place roast beef directly into slow cooker

2Spread thin sliced onion on top then pour over sauce

3Cook on HIGH for 5hrs

4Shred with two forks and serve

5We served ours on a sweet potato mash with crusty bread rolls

It depends what you are serving with? On bread rolls etc?
I would think you’d need at least maybe 3-4 times as much perhaps
How will you fit them all in? Or will you use multiple cookers
Basically if you fill your cooker with the beef I’d give it all day on low 8-10hrs

I need to feed 23 people – how much beef would I need and Iā€™m assuming this would increase the cooking time?

With that size roast it could easily take 7-8hrs on low šŸ™‚

Very nice meal and the leftovers were perfect for rolls and salad the next day. Again it was simple to make but loaded with flavour.
