  1. Made this for the first time a few weeks ago and my husband and son absolutely loved it! they each had seconds which never happens lol Awesome quick recipe!!!

  2. My family love this. I also had 1tbs of plain flour to the sauce mixture to thinken tje sauce slightly while it cooks.

  3. Absolutely love this dish ?? all my family LOVE it.. Even my son which in mind is a very fussy eater wants more after he finishes his plate . We either have it with mash an vege or put them into hotdog buns for a quick lunch or dinner ??

  4. Made this for dinner tonight. Very nice. Used beef chipolata sausages and browned them before putting in slow cooker (as I prefer that). Flavour was lovely. My family scored this 10/10! Another winning recipe. Thank you. Will be a regular (and I’m not even a big barbecue sauce fan) lol….

  5. This is such a quick recipe to put together that is packed with flavour. It can also be prepared the night before and stored in a container in the fridge ready to put on in the morning. I always cook for at least 8 hours on low and it holds up well.
The sauce works well with other meats including Pork and Meatballs and I will also try with Chicken.
    Thanks Paulene.

  6. So yummy. Went out for a little while and when I came home it’s delicious aroma was eminating from my house. Bet my neighbours were salivating ha ha. So easy and so full of flavour. Thank you for sharing this recipe. I don’t eat sausages very often but will definitely be making again.

  7. Another winner.
This was so tasty and so easy to make. The family enjoyed it, but we all decided that next time, I need to reduce the BBQ sauce because it was a bit strong for us.
The sauce was fairly runny toward the end of the cooking time, so I used cornflour to thicken it. I will definitely make this again.

  8. Made this and was so delicious. Hubby and I love it although last time we omitted the paprika as our daughter said it was a bit spicy for her. Still a big hit in this household

  9. I made this tonight with a few changes – leftvout the paprika, used 50/50 BBQ sauce and HP sauce and added some Gravox powder towards the end to thicken it up a little. It was delicious! So glad there’s leftovers and will definitely be making it again.

  10. It was very nice, but my sausages came out a little pink (will brown a bit next time) and the sauce was really runny.

  11. Best bangers and mash I have ever eaten. I added some mixed herbs, a little extra smoked paprika and chilli flakes. Also, towards the end I added a little bit of corn flour to help thicken it up, as I found it a little runny. It will be a regular dish here at home, my brother said he doesn’t want his sausages any other way. Next time I am going to add some mushrooms, I think that would be awesome. Best of all, it was so quick, easy and cheap to make. YUM!

Tried this one today, it was beautiful but the sauce was a bit rich so I think I might add a little less worcestershire next time, also was very runny at the end so I added some corn flour. I cut my sausages into 4s instead of leaving them whole aswell, was a winner with the kids and hubby so definitely cooking again ?

Wow…. this is one of my faves. Has become a staple of my freezer, always have a dump bag of this on standby. Love it on creamy mash potato.

  14. Another big winner in the house tonight!
Made as per the recipe instructions above all EXCEPT for the sauce
I chose to do half bbq and half tomato
    Flavour was on point.
    A+

  15. Made this tonight, we were not a fan of the sauce when taste testing straight from pan as it was rich, but once served with mashed potato and peas it was absolutely beautiful. A winner in our house.

  16. We made this last night and it was so delicious. So easy to make. We just needed to thicken the sauce at the end with some cornflour. Will be a regular on our menu!

  17. Made this today and was so yummy. The only thing was that there wasnt enough sauce for me. Will definitely make again just for me (sis that lives with me didn’t like it, very fussy). Thank you for a great recipe.

  18. So Yummy <3 Made exactly as per recipe except with 16 sausages and all the kids loved it even my big kid aka hubby and myself demolished it. So Tasty

  19. macking this now for dinner here in oz have put in a bit extra willsee how it goes i added carrot onion celery some diced tamatos am gunna pre cook the snags then in slow cooker for 4 hrs on low wish me luck as i have a couple of fussy eaters in this houseLMFAO

  20. Made this for dinner last night, we enjoyed it with mash potato but I think I still like curried sausages better. Nice alternative for something a bit different

  21. I did this exactly to the recipe. It was wonderful….but just a tiny bit rich. Next time I’ll swap out some of the bbq sauce for tomato. A lovely easy dish.

Big hit in my house all kids wanted more , I have kids with texture issues and just very fussy picky eaters too
Seriously under 5 minutes to prepare

Another easy and tasty recipe. I do fiddle with the recipe including: substitute BBQ sauce with a jar of salsa; add a can of corn. I have also substituted the BBQ sauce with a can of baked beans in BBQ sauce.

Seriously scrumptious snags! Everyone loved them, my husband even asked if they were normal packet sausages – yep plain old supermarket beef sausages! But the sauce was far from plain though, it was a taste bomb in all the good ways. I followed the above recipe and also added a sliced red capsicum and a packet of French onion soup mix. I didn’t brown the sausages, so really couldn’t have been easier. Served with a creamy mash, and steamed brocollini, green beans and crusty bread to mop up the delicious snag sauce. I highly recommend this recipe, easy, pantry ingredients and so tasty! Thank you for this saucy sausage sensation Paulene! Yum ?
