1 hr 10 mins
1 hr 15 mins
600 grams chocolate (I used store brand milk and dark chocolate)
1/2 packet marshmallows (about 20)
3/4 cup peanuts (or nuts of choice)
3/4 cup sultanas (or any other dried fruit)
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1Place chocolate in slow cooker and cook on high, uncovered until chocolate has melted
2Stir every 15 minutes (mine took an hour to melt)
3Add remainder of ingredients
4Cook for a further 5 - 10 minutes until marshmallows have started to soften.
5Pour or ladle into a tray, lined with baking paper (I used 20 x 30 cm slice tray)
6Refridgerate until set.
7Cut into desired size pieces.

Have never made rocky road in my life and had leftover ingredients from my daughters party using a bag of mixed nuts,Cadbury melts and chochips and leftover coloured mini marshmallows wasn’t sure if I was able to make this recipe until I asked the lovely paulene for help and I’m glad I did as I have made them and they became a huge hit in my house and told they are way better then the store bought ones and that they didn’t need any coconut added to them they are perfect on their own. Will certainly be making them again 😊

I think the question you should ask yourself is why come to a slow cooker recipe page to complain about the recipes using a slow cooker??
Go figure 🙂

Why waste 1 hour to melt the chocolate. Then scrape it out . Easier in microwave or over hot wafter. Less time. Confused.
