Slow Cooked Oriental Pork Chops

Ingredients
 

  • 4 pork cutlets or chops with rind & fat cut off
  • 2 cloves of garlic crushed
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce,
  • 1 tbsp Chinese rice wine,
  • 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce.

Instructions
 

  • Place pork chops in slow cooker
  • mix all sauce ingredients together and pour over chops, turning them so they are all coated
  • Cook for either 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low, turning chops occasionally so they stay coated with the sauce
  • remove chops when cooked & thicken sauce with cornflour
  • return chops to slow cooker & turn to coat in sauce
  • Serve with fried rice or steamed rice

  1. Tried this tonight. Used Pork scotch fillets as were on special. Did for 4 hrs but will do for 3 next time in my sc. We all enjoyed this but flavour a little strong for us. Might reduce the amount of Hoisin sauce next time & add a little brown sugar. Nice quick easy dinner.

    Was a different flavour for pork chops to what I have done before. Was easy to make and the final dish produced tender, tasty chops and I’ll definitely make again. Served with a variety of vegetables. Thank you for another wonderful recipe.
