- Yields: 1 cup
Directions
1Add psyllium husk and cold water in slow cooker
2Stir through food colouring
3Add hot water
4Stir
5Cook on HIGH for 1.5hrs, stirring occasionally
6Cook with lid OFF, no tea towel
7Slime when cooked will be congealed and stretchy
8Cool before playing
Notes
1Keep slime in sealed container in fridge for approximately 1 wk (check before each use that it has no mould etc and discard if it does)
2We purchased a big bag of psyllium husk for approximately $6 so you can make buckets full of slime for next to nothing!
3Non toxic 🙂
4This was cooked in a 1.5L slow cooker ... a larger one would cook hotter/faster so would need times reduced

Doubled the ingredients coz u can never have too much slime in the school holidays 😂

Tried at first in my larger sized slower cooker and cooked at shorter duration (as suggested) and ended up slop, purposely bought the 1.5L Woolworths slow cooker and followed directions, again slop….
