Very yummy. However, i didn’t use any pumpkin. Still turn out lovely. Good use of sausages taking up space in the freezer.
Next time though, i might put in some more potato to make up for not using pumpkin 🙂

    Yummy!
I didn’t use pumpkin so next time i make this i’ll put in more potato to make up. I also didn’t cook it for a further hour after i put the cheese on. I left it for maybe 15 mins while the cheese melted. Still came out nice. 🙂

  3. All time favorite sausage recipe. We come back to this all the time especially during the colder months!

  4. What I loved about this recipe is that it is super easy and very tasty. Par boiled my sausages. Instead of pumpkin I used sliced carrots, also added some chili flakes to the cream, we like spice. Because was wanting a one pot meal, before adding the cheese I added some defrosted peas and corn

  5. Absolutely fantastic. A new family favourite. Even mr fussy eater my 7 year old went back for seconds. Gunna be a regular in my house

  6. We All loved this recipe. So easy and cheap to make. Super tasty, definitely a new staple in this house

  7. My family all love this recipe. My 4 year old requests it weekly, this is her all time favourite slow cooker recipe. I used another user’s tip about adding a layer of defrosted peas and corn (2 cups worth) before the layer of cheese so had some veggies in it. It says 4-6 serves, I use 1kg of potatoes and it gives us (family of 2 adults, 2 young kids) 2 nights worth of dinner and one lunch for hubby. I’ve also accidentally used normal cooking cream rather than light and that works as well.

  8. Question could you cook up sausages the night before and then put them in fridge and then put them in slow cooker next day?

  9. I tired this the first time the other day. It was delicious the only difference I would do next time is slightly brown the sausages prior to putting it in the slow cooker 🙂

  10. Great recipe, nice to come home to the lovely smell of tea already cooked, i used cheese and bacon sausages, turned out fab, will try it again ??

  11. Made this for the first time last night. Mr fussy pants raved about it #win. Such an easy dish to make.

I’ll definitely be making it again definitely but will be adding either pumpkin or sweet potato next time to reduce the slightly salty taste.

  12. Hubby says “this is a winner”
I had no cream but used evaporative milk with four dollops of butter instead and added sweet potato too. Yum ?

A real hit at my house! I didn’t bother pre cooking the sausages. Added a potato bake bacon mix through the cream and used leek instead of onion because that’s what I had. We will be having this regularly.

Tried this recipe for the first time this week. A winner ? added pumpkin and carrot, and served with steamed beans and broccoli. Plenty left for lunches too! ?
