  4. This was a big hit in our house with both young and old. They scored it 9/10-praise indeed. Will definitely be making it again.

  5. I had to be a little inventive as we don’t like bbq sauce, so simply substituted it with some home-made chili sauce instead.
Thoroughly enjoyed the flavours together, & even though it wasn’t the original recipe – it certainly helped me find another dish I liked
Thank you for sharing your recipe 🙂

  6. The smell of the slow cooked sausages had been driving me barmy all afternoon – even other-half said “something smells gorgeous” when he came in the back door. All enjoyed it, and will have again. I served it with Low Carb Cauliflower Mash and Mixed Veggies. Next time I will try with Mashed Potatoes.

Smelled yummy while cooking, added a large”dollop” of chilli sauce and with half an hour to go stirred through some cooked corn and peas, served over a large “zapped” spud.

  8. I have only done sausages once before in my slow cooker, when I squeezed Italian sausages to make meatballs. I did this recipe yesterday……….so good!! I also added a bag of Asian vegetables.

  9. Would this be ok to go with rice? ( 4 year old loves rice) And if I add frozen peas and corn to it ,at what point would I put them in? Thanks heaps looking forward to trying it out.

  10. Looooooooooved this. So quick and easy. I didn’t have the time to cook it on low so I just did it on high for half the time and added some mixed vegetables towards the end. Definitely gonna be a regular thing in my house.

I made this tonight for tea but using Aldi sausages and it was so much nicer than using the Coles sausages it’s a huge hit

  12. This worked really well. I halved everything as I only had 8 sausages. Just added a splash more water to thin sauce a little. Great taste!!

  13. I made this today was delicious i also added potatoe & sweet potatoes, 1 beef cube and a little less water and 2 handfuls of macoroni which i added in the last 30 mins

  14. Very tasty. Instead of Worcestershire sauce as i didn’t have used teriyaki sauce. Tasted great also added sweet potato. Wow will have this as a weekly meal

First time cooking it and it was a hit in my house i have 5 fussy boys and a husband they couldnt get enough of it and asked are you going to cook it more often. i put potatoes in also some little meatballs as well and doubled the sauce mixture to make it real saucy as we like our sauce thankyou for a great recipe

  16. spent 6 hours making this, i was so excited and when i finally tasted it once everything was cooked, it was horrible

the Worcester sauce is immensely over powering the entire dish tastes like vinegar, wasted many ingredients

i know there is always a weirdo on each recipe saying its horrible and not once has it ever been me but today it is

i warn you all be careful with the Worcester sauce, i think the poster meant teaspoons not tablespoons because otherwise the dish is hard to eat and i followed this recipe to the letter

  17. I followed this recipe exactly and we loved it. Found it just a bit tarty 4 my lil ones so added 1 tspn of brown sugar. Easiest tastiest meal served on mash potato thankyou so much 4 this recipe x

made this tonight and everyone loves it. They have requested this to be on our regular meal planner. Kids went back for more which never happens!

  20. Just wondering if there is anything else we could substitute the French onion soup mix for as it’s not a great favourite in our house ?

Loved the sauce! I had 12 sausages I snipped them into bite size pieces with scissors whilst raw. Followed recipe except added one diced onion instead of two. Added 2tsp cornflour with water (slurry) at end to thicken. cooked on low 6hr.
