Could you put frozen drumsticks in? How much extra cooking time would you need?

We serve ours with mash and our fave steamed veg. Rice or even chips would be nice too if you prefer that 🙂

Cooked this for dinner tonight & hubby & kids loved it, will definitely be making again. I did brown the chicken first & cooked on high for 2 hours then low for an hour & meat just fell off the bone..

This was very nice and next time I will uses thighs and thicken the leftover juices to make a pouring sauce

Dinner tonight 😀 i didnt add the chilli sauce and at the end i chucked chicken in oven to crisp it up a little 😀 flavours were really nice

Made these for the family, this is a keeper, next time will use thighs. Not a fan of drumsticks but still very yummy.

Sooooooo good, used thigh instead and thickened sauce with cornflour and water mix. A definate regular recipe for us, thanks

Sure you can. I prefer to slow cook with thigh fillets as they tend to be less dry than breast but by all means this recipe will adapt to any chicken cut you prefer 🙂

Very easy and tasty 😊 We all enjoyed it, including my 3 year old. Served it with mashed potato and steamed vegies.
The sauce was a little watery so I removed the drumsticks and kept them warm, to thicken the sauce with a bit of cornflour and water. Will definitely make these again!

You could try? Just be sure the chicken is cooked through and the sauce doesn’t burn
