Ingredients

2kg Leg roast lamb

Salt and Pepper

1 x Heaped tablespoon of minced garlic

2 x tablespoons of mint sauce

1-2 tablespoons of Masterfoods "Lamb Herbs" mix (Rosemary, garlic, marjoram, thyme, oregano, mint, basil - you'll find it with all the jars of herbs in your supermarket)

50g or 2 sachets of rich meat gravy powder (or your favourite roast lamb gravy)

1 cup water

Directions

1Place raw lamb leg into slow cooker and pierce all over with sharp knife

2Season with Himalayan salt and cracked black pepper to taste

3Spread minced garlic all over the top surface of lamb and rub in

4Sprinkle with the mint sauce

5Sprinkle with the Lamb Herbs

6No liquid is needed, it will soon make plenty of it's own

7Cook on low for 8hrs total

8At 7.5hrs into cooking time, remove bone from lamb, shred meat into juices and add gravy powder and the additional 1 cup of water

9Continue to cook for a further 30mins or until gravy is lovely and thick

10Serve with your favourite roast vegetables or let others self serve onto bread rolls at your next party 🙂
