Delicious mince in a rich gravy sauce

  • Yields: 6+

Ingredients

1kg beef Mince

2 beef stock cubes crushed

2 fine diced onions

1/2 cup Maggi Rich Gravy powder

1 cup water

Directions

1Combine all ingredients in slow cooker

2Cook on low for 4hrs - stirring occasionally if able to keep mince separated

3Serve on bread roll sliders, with vegetables or on toasted sandwiches

Would this recipe be able to be made with adding uncooked pasta? (Cooking all together?)

As the gravy is half of the gravy mince recipe I’d suggest waiting until you have some šŸ™‚

All but the gravy powder I have in my pantry, what can i substitute it with?

No that is a pressure cooker/multi cooker.
A slow cooker is not quite the same I’m afraid
But you can get so many types of sc for very little cost so you should consider adding one to your kitchen šŸ™‚

Sorry, silly question but Iā€™m asuuming its raw mince you add and is the gravy powder made up with liquid or just 1/2 cut actual powder.?

This worked fantastically for me and I can’t wait to make it into pies today. About 3/4 way into booking I addedsome extra gravy powder to soak up juices. I have also added diced bacon. Definitely don’t this again for pie fillings
