Arriving home late with hungry teenagers. Two ingredients and five minutes had a simple and easy dessert/snack on cooking.

  • Yields: 8 Scones


200g SR Flour

200mls Cream

Optional fillings--


Chocolate chips





1Mix flour and cream together.

2Tip dough out onto baking paper.

3Shape into a rectangle, approx 1cm thick.

4If using a filling sprinkle/spread this over the dough.

5Fold in half.

6Using a sharp knife score dough to make 8 scones.

7Place in slow cooker with a tea towel under the lid and cook on high for approx 45mins-1hr (Breville Ikon 7L slow cooker)


1I used Gluten free flour and Lactose free cream

2Depending on the type of flour used you may need 25-50mls extra cream
