This recipe can be made using other citrus. Prep: 20 mins Cook: 4 hrs 55 mins 20 mins 4 hrs 55 mins 5 hrs 15 mins Yields: 1.5 litres Ingredients2 cups Water 2 cups Sugar 2 Sumo Mandarins Directions1For syrup - Add water and sugar in a pot and dissolve sugar. Liquid should be clear and slightly thick. 2Peel mandarins and remove white pith as much as possible. 3Slice thinly and place into the 1.5 litre slow cooker. 4Pour syrup over sliced peel. 5Turn on slow cooker to low and let it cook for around 5 hours. 6Pour/spoon into sterilized jars put lid on while still hot and let cool.
