  1. How do you think this would be if cooked on low for 8 hours? I’m looking for a recipe that can be cooking while I’m at work.
    Thanks

  2. Absolutely love this meal!!! Making it tonight, can’t wait ? but I’m lazy I just Chuck everything in together except the Philly cheese which I add in the last half hr n serve with macaroni ? thanku soooooooo much for sharing your recipe Lysette ? don’t make it any other way now, this is by far, my fave ?

  3. OMG I had this recipe years ago, ( and lost it ) Thankyou so much, I’ll be making that version again very soon.

  4. Yum, yum, yum this recipe is awesome!! I added 3 tablespoons tomato paste, tripled the Worcestershire sauce, salt & pepper, good sprinkling of paprika, added soup tin full of water. Thickened with cornflour water before adding cooked fettuccine and serving. So, so delicious 🙂 Thanks for sharing the recipe Lysette!

  5. Coooked this tonight made my house smell amazing but sadly that’s where it ends it was very bland and didn’t taste like beef stroganoff at all very disappointed ?

  6. Had this tonight.
Was very yummy and the two fussy kids ate it too.
Made a huge serving too so plenty of lunches were made too.
    Yum

  7. I made it the other day. Fantastic. But I added a bit of tomato paste and dijon mustard. Also needs a lot more worchestire and salt and pepper.

    Really good!!
Hubby loved it, almost scraped the coating off his plate getting the last little bits ??

I put it all in raw, no pre browning
    Tripled the Worcestershire
Cooked 4.5hrs low then 1hr high with a little corn flour slurry to thicken the sauce up nicely
Served on creamy potato mash with the dollop of sour cream 🙂

  9. 5 stars
I use a packet of beef stroganoff mix and mix it with the mushroom soup and some water. Also never brown meat just put it all in slow cooker leaving out the Worcestershire sauce and garlic. It is a regular meal in my house.
