2 large oranges
2 large red apples
1 large cinnamon stick
2/3 cup brown sugar
1Poke 6 whole cloves each into the apples and oranges and add to cooker with cider, sugar,1 sliced lemon, and cinnamon stick.
2Cook on high for 1 hour then add nutmeg and cook on low for a further 2 hours.
3Taste and add more sugar if needed. Cook on low for one more hour.
4Turn off and leave to cool. Remove whole ingredients and strain the liquid. Add thin slices from the second lemon and serve warm or chilled.
