  • Yields: 4 generous servings

Ingredients

Pound (0.5kg) of lean beef steak mince

Tin of chopped tomatoes

Tin of condensed cream of tomato soup

One medium onion chopped

2 garlic cloves crushed

1 heaped teaspoon of English mustard

2 tablespoons of Worcester sauce

1 beef stock cube dissolved in half a cup of boiling water

2 tablespoons of instant beef gravy

Salt and pepper to taste

Frozen hash browns to cover (about 10)

Grated cheese (approx 100g)

Directions

1Mix everything together apart from hash browns and cheese.

2Transfer to slow cooker.

3Top with hash browns.

4Cook on LOW for 3 hours with a tea towel under the lid.

5Tea Towel Trick

6Top with grated cheese and cook for another half an hour.

7Brown under grill if desired.
