An amazing cross between Kiev’s and chicken Parma

  • Prep: 10 mins
  • Cook: 3 hrs 30 mins
  • 10 mins

    3 hrs 30 mins

    3 hrs 40 mins

  • Yields: 4-8 serves


Your choice of 8 Kiev’s

700g passata

2tbs Italian seasoning

1 1/2 - 2 cups of shredded mozzarella (to cover)


1Place Kiev’s in your slow cooker. (Single layer if possible)

2Pour in passata

3Sprinkle Italian seasoning on

4Generously add cheese on top

5Cook on high for 3.5hrs using tea towel trick

6Add salt and pepper to taste

7Serve with a fresh salad, chips or steamed vege

What’s the tea towel trick?

This was so easy and delicious! My two year old and three year old children enjoyed it too. I will definitely make this recipe again.

I made it in my new Breville Searing Slowcooker. I was able to easily fit 8 Kievs in a single layer. I’m going to freeze the leftovers. Hopefully they will defrost ok.

Had cooked and liked the naked chicken parmigiana before so thought I would give this a try. Used a 4 pack of coles chicken Kiev in the meat department and 500 ml spaghetti bol sauce, added bacon and then the cheese. The dish was ready in 3 hrs high, full of flavour and the chicken moist. A definite winner, easy to make.thanks so much Hannah for the recipe!😁

I made this recipe tonight. Turned out great and the flavours are wonderful. I served the Chicken Kiev’s with steamed potatoes, carrots and broccoli… Highly recommended 🙂
