  1. Made this but used Honey Mustard marinade, instead of honey. Wasn’t the pretties dish once finished, but it tasted nice and was easy to prepare. Whole family enjoyed this. Thanks for a lovely recipe.

  2. Didn’t cook in time specified, had to chuck in oven on high heat so that some of the veg was ready for dinner. Good flavour though.

  3. This is such a delicious recipe. So quick and so tasty. I also added cherry tomatoes. Highly recommend although allow longer cooking time if you want super soft veg.

Do you use the tea towel trick when making this dish? Can you also say what book the recipes are in. Thank you.

This honey butter sauce is the bomb. The best flavoured veggies ever. I cooked them on low for 7 hours. Veggies were cooked to perfection, soft, but still whole.
I used the honey butter sauce in place of white sauce, no regrets. Even the cabbage that I sauted in butter, took on the the flavour. No more boring veggies again.

  6. Paulene, are many of the recipes on the website, not in the books?
Like do they eventually get in a book?
I like the books for when I don’t have an internet connection 🙂

  7. Flavour is delicious!! I used frozen broccoli cause that’s what I had, and put some frozen brussel sprouts in too and they were so yum!!

I would use the tea towel trick in future though, as it was very watery (maybe that is because of the frozen veggies though).
