Total Time 1 hour 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 2 blocks of Cadbury Caramello chocolate
  • 1 large 290g block of plain chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon of butter

Instructions

  • Place one block of Caremello in the freezer
  • Add the remaining ingredients into the slow cooker . . .
  • Place slower cooker on low and stir every 10 to 15 mins with a steel spoon for approx 1hr to 1.5hrs on low
  • Once all the ingredients are melted add to the tray and place it in the fridge to set
  • After 15 mins, once cooled but soft, place the frozen block of Caremello into the centre of your fudge and put back in the fridge to set. Make sure that you place your block of Caremello in the freezer so when it's added to the cooled fudge it will not melt in with the mixture and stay hard..

  1. Wonder if this would work with Turkish delight as well going to give it a go once school goes back in Vic on the 26th may and no more hone schooling. Thanks for the idea

  2. Do you place the whole block on top in one piece? Or push it so the fudge covers it? Or do you break up the pieces? Keen to try this recipe. 🙂

    1. You could do either but my understanding is the whole block is added 🙂 If it sunk easy enough I would try to cover it a little with fudge but then quickly into fridge so it doesn’t melt the entire block of that makes sense – you want to keep those gooey caramel pockets 😉

  3. Really easy to make and a delicious turn out. I think I probably should’ve lined my dish with baking paper to make life easier. Super yum with a hot coffee.

  4. 5 stars
