4 - 6 goat shanks ( or any other shanks you have )
1 leak, halved and sliced
2 carrots sliced
2 onion sliced
1 can crushed tomatos
12 garlic cloves
1 bay leaf
1 sprig Rosemary
1 sprig Thyme
1 teaspoom black peppercorn
350 ml red wine ( can be omited )
600 ml chicken stock
4 tablespoons flour and enoug water to make a paste
Salt
1Put everything in the slow cooker and let cook

3Half hour before end of cooking ad flour mixture and stir to thicken sauce.

5Serve with mashed potato, sweet potato, risotto, cous cous or soft polenta.
