Ingredients

  • 3 cups of sifted S.R flour
  • 2 cups of warm water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 brown onion thinly sliced
  • Bacon diced
  • Cheddar cheese grated
  • Basil, rosemary and oregano
  • 2 tsp minced garlic

Instructions

  • Using a spoon mix all ingredients together including cheese and bacon.
  • Leave some to sprinkle on top.
  • I also sprinkled extra herbs on top also.
  • Line slow cooker with baking paper
  • Spray paper with cooking oil.
  • Put dough in slow cooker
  • Add toppings.
  • Put a tea towel under the lid.
  • Cook on HIGH for 1.5 hours
  • To be honest you can add anything you like as long as you start with flour salt and warm water

  1. I tried this recipe today. It is beautiful i cooked for the amount of time it said then put under grill when it was finished for a bit to brown up as suggested by another slow cooker lover 🙂

On reading the Instructions I take it that you put everything into the base and THEN you put more on top then cook it….it does say including, but that seems to be a doubling up….

  3. Was very nice great recipe, grilled 10 mins to crisp up the top, bread was. Very stodgy. Not sure how to fix that yet

  4. Absolutely divine, thank you so much for this recipe. I made it as per recipe too. As I live alone I have some left so just sliced it and grilled it. Was yummy with butter and cream cheese on top…once again thank you so much <3

  5. I made a pizza version of this but swapped normal water for room temp soda water which made it a bit lighter. I love this recipe, thank you for sharing and i cant wait to try other new ways to change it up a bit.
    P.S. This recipe is beautiful

Ohhh my gawd ? I’ve made this b4 n was sure that I had left a review but apparently I didn’t ????? but today it tasted sooo good ? I made a few adjustments, I just used 2 cups of S.R.Flour instead of 3, 1 1/4 cups of warm water instead of 2, forgot the salt altogether but it was salty enough with the bacon, left the onion ? out but next time I’ll add half a diced onion, instead of 2 tsps of minced garlic ? I just put 1 tsp n I just used mixed herbs in the mixture n on top, will definitely be making it again with my adjustments, thank you Jade for sharing your amazing recipe with us ?????
