Easy peach dessert

SUPER EASY Fruity pudding topped with walnuts

Ingredients
 

  • 825g tinned peaches
  • 1 packet vanilla cake mix
  • 150g chopped butter
  • 1/2 cup walnuts

Instructions
 

  • 1. Place peaches including the juice on the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • 2. Top peaches with the cake mix.
  • 3. Add the chopped butter and walnuts to the top of the cake mix.
  • 4. Put the lid on and cook on high for four hours or low for eight.
  • No mixing or any other ingredients required. Different fruits can be used as long as it has liquid. Other cake flavours can also be used.

    I made this with tinned apple in juice. Didn’t use walnuts and sprinkled 2 teaspoons of raw sugar on top before cooking. The result….. delish !!!!
    A big hit all round and super easy.
    Maybe took a little longer that the 4 hours on high though, but we’ll worth the wait !

    Love the simplicity of this recipe. No mixing.. Place in a layer. I had everything in the pantryMake sure you cook earlier for dessert – 4 hours. I didn’t like walnuts so i added a small handful of toasted muesli for the crunch. I have made it twice and love the taste.
