Curried Sausages

6-8 thin bbq sausages (kept whole)

2 x tins condensed cream of chicken soup

2 x tablespoons curry powder

1 x tablespoon vegetable stock powder

1 large onion diced

2 large potatoes diced

2 - 3 carrots diced


1Mixed soup, curry powder, vegetable stock and vegetables in slow cooker. Add sausages.

2Mix sauces so it covers the sausages.

3Put the lid on.


5For the last half hour of cooking remove lid to allow sauce to thicken.


7Cooked on low for 9 hours in a Sunbeam Secret Chef Slow Cooker.

Curried Sausages &a rice, has been one of my all time favourite meals. However, I have never made it with the cream of chicken soup before. Will definitely try this very simple recipe.

This is the recipe I normally do when I do curried sausages. Today I added a zucchini to it and I loved it!

You could use salt reduced stock and salt reduced soups 🙂
