Chunky chilli con carne 0 0 5 0

Serve with plain corn chips or tortillas and cheese, even some sour cream

  • Yields: 5-6 servings

Ingredients

1kg gravy or chuck steak chunked

1 brown onion peeled and sliced

2x 400g tin of diced tomatoes

2 tblsp of tomato paste

1tsp chilli flakes

1cup Campbell’s beef stock

3tsp cumin

2tsp ground coriander

2tsp oregano

2 tsp garlic

1tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

400g tin kidney beans

Cheese to serve

And plain corn chips or tortillas

Directions

1Place all ingredients except kidney beans and cheese/chips and tortillas into slow cooker. Stirring occasionally

2Cook on high for 4 hrs or low for 5-6hrs or when meat is tender, in the last half hour stir in the kidney beans.

3Serve with plain corn chips or tortillas and cheese, even some sour cream
