EmailTweet 3 Full-screen Chocolate & hazelnut self saucing pudding Dessert January 2, 2015 Chocolate & hazelnut self saucing pudding 5 0 5 1 Prep: 20 mins Cook: 2 hrs 20 mins 2 hrs 2 hrs 20 mins Yields: 4 people Ingredients250gms self raising flour 250gms castor sugar 55gms unsweetened cocoa powder 500mls of milk 180gms butter,melted 4 eggs lightly beaten 150gms coarsely chopped dark chocolate 75gms toasted chopped hazelnuts TOPPING 300gms brown sugar 30gms unsweetened cocoa powder Directions1Sift flour,sugar,cocoa powder and a pinch of sea salt into a bowl. 2Add the milk,butter and eggs and stir until smooth. 3Fold in the chocolate and hazelnuts. 4Pour batter into slow cooker. 5Place topping ingredients in a bowl and mix together. 6Sprinkle over batter then pour 400mls of boiling water over the top. Very rich and needs a big slow cooker. I ended up with a huge pudding and no sauce in the 3.5 l cooker. Very rich and dense. Huge recipe.
