Shallots and sesame seeds for serving (plus sliced chilli if you like it)
Directions
1Arrange shanks in slow cooker.
2Mix all remaining ingredients together, pour over shanks.
3Cook on low 6-8 hrs, turning the shanks a few times if you can.
Notes
1Serve with steamed rice and/or steamed Asian greens. Pour some of the braising liquid over each serve, and top with sliced shallots and sesame seeds (plus sliced chilli if desired)
