  1. OMG This recipe was so nice. If you love Indian then this one is for you. We served this with rice and home made naan. The entire family loved this curry. The recipe was easy to make and adjustable if you like it mild or hot. Will be cooking this again. Can’t wait for tomorrow as leftover curry is always better the next day. (Would have given more than 5 stars if I could.)

  2. Absolutely delicious 🙂 I served with rice. Next time I’ll leave out the chilli flakes as it was a bit spicy but that’s not a complaint! Best flavour!!

  3. This was my first slow cooker curry that I made. It turned out amazing! Even my hubby was impressed since he is a Punjabi. I cut down ingredients since less people, so mine wasn’t as brown in as the picture but still was amazing

  4. Loved how easy this recipe was, and the flavours were lovely and authentic (to my palate, anyway!) I left out the chilli and went a bit lighter on some of the spices so Mr 6 would eat it, served with rice and naan. Next time will stick to the recipe – I’m sure it will be a knockout meal!

  5. Well Ratty cat was so sure when I got the slow cooker out we were having pork or beef balls again. Imagine her disgust when I told her no Ratty not Ratty food but defo Caytie food. Will do again and again and again. Sorry Ratty

  6. Delicious!!
    Will make this again 🙂
    Notes:
    – substituted 225g chopped fully grown spinach for the 2 120g bags of baby spinach.
    – substituted roughly deboned thigh for the breast (it was cheaper – saved the bones for broth)
    – only used 1/4 teasp chili flakes
    – only used 1 teasp salt
    – served with mint yoghurt for those who still found it a bit warm from the chilies

  7. 5 stars
Used drumsticks, also didn’t have enough baby spinach so added some frozen spinach. Used the T towel method & Added the coconut milk near the end (so it didn’t split.) Also put potato & carrot underneath.
We lived in Penang for a while so husband is fussy. He was impressed!
Wow, flavours were delicious. Thanks for the great recipe. We LOVE curries.
