Ingredients

1.3 - 1.5kg chicken thigh fillets

1-2 packets French Onion Soup Mix

3 Tblspns plain flour

2 small onions, sliced

4 rashers bacon, diced

1-2 cups water

Sour Cream

Parsley

Directions

1Add flour and dry soup mix in a snap lock or freezer bag (if you like lots of sauce use 2 packets soup mix). Add chicken and coat well. Brown chicken and add to slow cooker with bacon and onion.

2Add 1 cup of water (per packet of soup mix - 2 packets = 2 cups of water) to the left over flour and soup mix, whisk well and pour over chicken.

3Cook for around 6 hours on low.

4When cooked add sour cream (I use 4-5 tablespoons) and chopped parsley.

5I use salt reduced French Onion soup

6Serve with rice and steamed broccoli.
