Ingredients

  • 600gm milk chocolate (or another if you prefer)
  • 397gm tin sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 TBS/20gm butter (optional)
  • 180gm pack Cherry Ripes
  • 2 x 80gm Cherry Ripes
  • (or 2 x 180gm packs would work fine too)

Instructions

  • Add chocolate, sweetened condensed milk and butter in slow cooker bowl and heat on low with the lid off, stirring every 15 minutes or so until chocolate has melted for approximately 45 minutes to an hour depending on slow cooker until the mixture begins to form a skin/crust.
  • Chop Cherry Ripes into pieces, add to slow cooker and continue to stir until the Cherry Ripes are evenly distributed through the fudge.
  • Pour fudge into a greased and lined slice tray and refrigerate until set (approximately 3 hours).
  • Remove from fridge and let sit for approximately 30 minutes before slicing into desired sized pieces.
  • Enjoy... We sure did 🙂

  2. This makes a great fudge! We used 2 bags of the treat size cherry ripes and roughly chopped to leave a bit of texture to the fudge. Very yummy, thanks for sharing!
