1 x baguette french bread stick (approx 30cm)
100g diced bacon
1 cup grated tasty cheese
2 tbsp mild American mustard
2 tbsp fresh chives diced
1Slice baguette into slices approx 3cm wide (similar to a garlic bread loaf would be sliced) - DON'T slice all the way through the bread stick to the bottom
2Butter inside each slice of the baguette
3Brown bacon pieces in fry pan and add them to a bowl
4Add remaining ingredients to the bowl with the bacon and stir to combine
5Spoon mixture into each slice of the baguette
6Wrap baguette in alfoil and seal
7Place in slow cooker and cook on HIGH for approximately 1hr or until cheese all melted
8Serve immediately - or prepare ahead of time and cook just in time to serve for a great party food!
