A subtle flavoured Cantonese Pork recipe the whole family can enjoy 🙂 Not too spicy for little ones and such a moist, tender result!

Yields: 5
Ingredients
1.5kg Pork Scotch steaks, cubed (Use any cut of pork you prefer but make sure it's one with some fat and not super lean to keep the moist, end result of the dish)
1 large red onion, sliced
1 tsp minced Ginger
1 tsp minced garlic
1 Tbsp sesame oil
2 Tbsp "salt reduced" soy sauce
1/3 cup Hoi Sin sauce (I like Ayam brand)
Optional: 1 Tbsp cornflour + 1 Tbsp water to thicken
Directions
1Place diced pork and sliced onion in slow cooker
2Combine all remaining ingredients (except cornflour and water)
3Pour over pork and onion and stir to combine
4Cook on low for 5hrs
5To thicken sauce, mix cornflour and water, add, then allow to cook an additional 30mins to thicken
6This flavour is mild enough for the whole family - not spicy 🙂

A favourite in our house. So tasty 😋. I vary ingredients each time, adding a bit chilli for some zing and a little honey to sweeten.
