Love this recipe and have made it many times! Sometimes I add mushrooms in and is delicious as well. Requested the most by my dad when he comes for dinner

Seasoned flour is just to add salt and pepper to it first Rick 🙂 Gravy beef would be nice with this one

Firstly loved the look of the recipe so going to try it out over the weekend but have a couple of questions before I do? What is seasoned flour obviously has some sort of seasoning added to the flour but what and how much? Question 2 is gravy beef ok to use as I make all my Indian curries with this?

I made this last night and everyone loved it. So easy and I’m a really basic cook that doesn’t experiment. Will be making this again for our family of 5.

Smashing, this is the first time I have made this, I used diced beef and added sliced mushrooms about 2hrs before it was ready absolutely lovely. With 3 teenage boys this is perfect for leftovers in the fridge especially when the eldest son and partner do shift work easy to come hpme and heat up on toast or with fresh bread. YUMM!!

I thought it was such a simple recipe that it wasn’t going to be very good, but I tried it anyway. I was pleasantly surprised. I would definetly have this again.

This one is cooked in whole steaks
You could use any you like but cheaper cuts with a little fat on them will be most tender 🙂

Had this for dinner tonight, it was AMAZING!!! I doubled all ingredients bar the steak and onion as I wasnt going to be home to give it a little stir. Was on from 8.30am until roughly 6pm. Meat just fell apart! Sauce was a little runny due to me doubling the recipe, so I just stirred some corn flour and took the lid off for awhile.

No need to brown. The flour will all stick to the meat so I don’t think you’ll have any to tip in cooker 🙂
