Omg made this tonight . It was so good . Even all the kids loved it and ask for me to make it again .

  2. Absolutely beautiful! My cooker cooks hot , so will do slightly less time next time. Served with Sweet potato mash, but will be soo good with fried rice!

  3. Very tasty recipe. I used chuck steak instead of rump steak and it was great. The sauce is a delicious flavour. Definitely going to make this again.

    Sooooooo good!
We used a kg of diced beef and floured it lightly first
Served with sweet potato mash, steamed broccolini & fresh corn cobs
    #AMAZING
The only thing I’d do differently next time is look for seedless jam to avoid the occasional pips
Will definitely do this meal again
Wish I’d tried it sooner 🙂

  5. Very nice & sweet enough no need to add any extra jam.. used 1kg diced lean beef Would prefer to find a variety of blackberry jam without the pips for next time but overall easy and enjoyed by all the family including master 12 & Miss 18 who are not big meat eaters..?

  6. Made this for dinner last night and it was awesome. Sauce was so good, full of taste. Served with veggies. Will be making again. Terrific recipe – thank you for sharing.

  7. This was so easy and delicious, I didn’t have blackberry jam, yet had plum sauce in my pantry ,this worked fine. And I used 8 chicken drumsticks. This will be a recipe to keep.

  8. It was delicious ? but the seeds were ghastly for me so next time I’ll get seedless lol, thickened an hour before serving with corn flour slurry 1 TBS with half a cup of the juices

  9. If you heat the jam up in the microwave, you can straight out the seeds with a strainer (make sure you don’t melt it if it’s plastic, and beware, hot jam is lava). I’ve just popped in slow cooker for first time, see how we go!

  10. Had this one cooking yesterday – swapped out the french onion soup mix with beef stock and added a good dash of worcestershire sauce – This was a winner and will be definitely cooked again

  11. Tonight I made this mouth watering dish. For something so simple ingredient and preparation wise, it packed a serious flavour punch. The jam makes a beautiful stickiness and the beef melts in your mouth. I served it with jasmine rice & broccoli in a garlic butter

  12. I don’t like blackberry jam so I made this using plum jam and tomato soup instead of the sauce and it was absolutely delicious. Thank you so much for another great recipe.

  13. This was sssoooo good!!! Loved the sauce & was super easy to throw in the sc!!! Everyone even fussy eaters ate, actually they licked them clean!! Will definitely be making this again!! I served with home made wedges & corn!!!

  14. Yummy!! I didn’t have any blackberry jam, so I used boysenberry jelly. The smell while cooking drove me nuts looked forward to dinner time. Served it with mashed potatoes, steamed cauliflower/broccoli, will add this recipe to my favourites.

Absolutely love this meal, we have had it twice in on the past fortnight because yummo, the first time I did exactly as recipe is. Tonight I did 1/2 cup tomato sauce and 1/4 cup of BBQ and it was even better. Served on a bed of mash potato and with steamed broccoli and cauliflower just made it perfect.

    1. Hi Angie, I just tested it now and it goes to the print page no problem? All working as normal 🙂
Once on the print page you can then choose to print with or without picture, and print in small normal or large print – all factors tested and working 🙂

  16. I have tried this recipe 3 times and love it. I couldn’t get blackberry jam so I used plum jam and it was so yummy. A definite favorite in our house

Made this one again for tonight’s dinner. Was received better than ever. Not a chance of any leftovers and youngest son cleared his plate asking if there was any steak left. Paired with mash and steamed veges.
