I was blown away by the flavours in this pork recipe. Meat was so tender & the gravy was thick & rich.

  • Yields: 4 Servings

Ingredients

4 pork shoulder chops ( thick cut)

1/2 tsp salt

Black pepper

1/2 tsp sweet paprika

1/2 tsp garlic powder

2 cups sliced mushrooms

I onion sliced

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 can cream of chicken soup

1/2 cup beef stock

Splash of olive oil for frying

Directions

1Mix salt, pepper, paprika & garlic powder and sprinkle over both sides of pork chops

2Heat up oil in frypan & brown chops for a couple of mins each side.

3Add mushrooms & onion to the slow cooker.

4Add browned pork chops

5Mix soups & stock together & pour into frypan stirring with a fork to incorporate all the flavours from seasoned chops.

6Pour over other ingredients in slow cooker.

7Cook on low for 8 -9 hrs

8May need to thicken with cornflour 30mins before end of cooking time.

9Serve with a creamy mash.
