Beef Meatballs in Creamy Mushroom Gravy 5 0 5 2

My kids love the meat balls and the sauce, and hopefully yours will too.

  • Yields: Serves 4-6


Meat balls

600gms beef mince (I used premium)

2 tbs crushed garlic

1 tsp oregano

1 tsp thyme

1 tsp basil

2/3 cup bread crumbs

1 egg.


1 400g can cream of mushroom soup

300mls cooking cream

1 packet French onion soup mix (salt reduced)

1 tbs Worcestershire sauce

8 teaspoon drops cream cheese.


1Make meatballs and add to slow cooker

2Combine sauce ingredients and pour over, add cream cheese dollops on top

3Cook on low for 4hrs.

4Stir gently halfway through. Sauce will be thick and creamy.


1Serve with brown rice and steamed vegetables.

2Could also serve with pasta or mashed potatoes.
