Ingredients

3 c corn kernels

4 small potatoes, quartered

8 slices cooked bacon

1 onion, chopped

1 tsp minced garlic or 2 cloves

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

3 c chicken stock

3 c milk

1/4 c butter

Directions

1Combine first 8 ingredients in slow cooker.

2Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours.

3Stir in milk and butter, cover and cook for an additional hour.

Great soup. I did this in a 3.5 liter, and it was full! Yum!!!

Cooking time on post should be amended to 5 hours. This is our go to recipe for chowder, we just add in a handful of cheese as well though.
