Ingredients

750g bag new potatoes, boiled until soft

8 rashers of bacon, cooked and cut in to small pieces

1 large onion, thinly sliced

2 spring onion stalks, chopped in to rounds

1 bag of grated cheese

1/4 tsp garlic granules

1/4 tsp onion granules

Butter to dot

Salt and pepper

Directions

1Line the slow cooker with tin foil

2Cooked potatoes until soft and leave 2 cool enough to handle them and cut them in halves

3Cook bacon and leave 2 cool enough to handle and cut them in to bite size pieces

4Chop the onion and spring onion

6Place half of the potatoes, bacon and onions in the slow cooker

7Add half of the garlic granules and onion granules

8Add half the butter to dot and season with salt and pepper

10Repeat with the rest of the potatoes, bacon and onions

11Add the rest of the garlic granules and onion granules

12Add the rest of the butter to dot and season again with salt and pepper

14Cover the top with foil

15Cook on low for 4 hours 30 minutes - 5 hours

16At the end add the bag of grated cheese and cook on high for 30 minutes
