Ingredients

1.5kgs chicken fillet

1 x 825g can apricot nectar

2 x pkts french onion soup mix

Seasoned flour

Directions

1Toss chicken in seasoned flour then place in slow cooker

2In a jug mix apricot nectar and soup mix and then pour over chicken

3Cover with lid and cook on low for 8 hours

4Serve with rice

I made this tonight, I used a 400g tin of nectar and 400g tin of half apricots. I only used 500g of chicken thighs sliced in half and put on low for 4 hrs! Added a onion too (only half put of French onion) delicious!

Used reciepe, but didn’t have apricot nectar so subsituted with a small jar of homemade marmalade and the French Onion soup mix + 1/4 cup water and was perfect – will be doing again!

Delicious! Just like mum use to make! I did add an onion and carrots. Served on rice. 🙂
