2.5 cups rolled oats

2lg cooking apples peeled and grated

1/2 cup sultanas(or raisins)

1-2 tsp cinnamon

7.5 cups water

To serve

Milk or Greek yoghurt

Brown sugar or honey


1Put all ingredients,except milk or sugar(yoghurt/honey), stir pop on lid and cook overnight on low.

2Stir before serving.

3Pour a little milk, or a dollop of yoghurt, over each and sprinkle 1-2 tsp brown sugar or honey over top.

Yum! I sometimes cook it on the weekend for a yummy Sunday breakfast, then portion it up for the week.

Last time I made this one I used pears instead of apples for a change, and added some shredded coconut. I served it with milk, brown sugar and chia seeds.
