8 hrs 10 mins
1.6 kg Pork middle roast (or any size)
2 tsp dried mixed herbs
2 tsp dried garlic granules
1-2 Tbps honey
salt and pepper
1 Tbsp water
1Spray Slow Cooker with Oil.
2Finely slice apple and onion and lay on bottom of Slow Cooker.
3Season them with half the mixed herbs and garlic and Salt and Pepper.
4Add the tiniest amount of water just so nothing sticks.
5Lay the Pork on the bed of apple and onion.
6In a small bowl mix together the honey, remaining mixed herbs and galic + Salt and pepper and baste the pork all over.
7Add any left over onion and apple ontop of roast.
9I can't fit the veges with my huge roast but if you had a separate Slow Cooker you could, or use smaller roast.
11Cook on low for 8-12 hours depending on your Slow Cooker.
12Baste with the mixture every 2-3 hours..

Absolutely delicious recipe!!! Thanks so much for sharing this with us Jess, our whole family licked their plates clean!! I doubled the honey and herbs and cooked a 3.424kg bone in pork leg roast for 8.5 hrs on low. So amazing, will definitely make regularly at our place 10/10

Everyone’s cookers can cook at different heats… if yours is average and for that size I’d go at least 10hrs

8-12hrs? That’s a huge time variance..i have a 2kg portion of pork with bone, would you still cook it on low for 8hrs?
